A Good Read

Although this blog is to emphasize the reading of "literature," generally presumed to include prose fiction and poetry and even drama--but not prose non-fiction--I think one of the most important reads that any college student can invest himself or herself in in 2019 is the Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election. Volume I looks specifically at the actions taken by the Russian government and its ancillary organizations as  an assault on American democracy, and Volume II looks at the efforts of the present administration to obstruct the investigation into the Russian attacks against America before, during, and after the 2016 Election.

It is a good read.

Getting Started

Welcome to "Writing about Literature."  This site was established for students enrolled in Professor Coursey's literature courses, especially any students enrolled in sections of ENC 1102, but everyone is invited to post a comment as time passes by.  Just follow the rules.

Everyone should remember that this blog is open to the internet world, so we want to project the best image of ourselves with our best possible writing.

This blog has been updated 07/28/2019, and most anything posted prior to the update has been deleted.
